Grants

ASLE offers members of the association support through modest grants. Our Translation Grants support work in ecocriticism from international scholars and to expand exchanges across cultures and continents. Our Subvention Grants support innovative projects in ecocriticism and the environmental humanities. Community Grants (offered 2013-2019) have support projects that will help build connections between the environmental humanities and place-based environmental organizations working outside the academy.  International Membership Grants provide a two-year ASLE membership to scholars in need from countries outside of North America.
