ASLE Caucus for Diversity
The ASLE community now has a new cyber meeting place to share news about research, events, pedagogy, and more regarding diversity and environment issues. Designed and maintained by current Diversity Officer Priscilla Ybarra, the site will host ongoing discussions and announcements. The next elected Diversity Officers will continue to maintain the site. Please see the site at http://www.aslediversity.org/ to join the conversation on diversity issues.
Would you like to propose a discussion topic or share information about an event or research? Would you like to announce a new book or ask a pedagogy question? Please email any information you would like to share to Salma Monani at: smonani@gettysburg.edu.
If you would prefer to respond to announcements, posts, or questions, please click "comment" on the blog and share your thoughts about a specific post. Please contribute your thoughts and news regarding ASLE Diversity and environment/diversity events in your areas!
Contact the Diversity Chair for updates and planned activities at the biennial conference: Salma Monani (smonani@gettysburg.edu).
The diversity group also runs a list-serv for discussion about how to expand the focus of ASLE to include issues of diversity. If you would like to subscribe, please send a message to Annie Ingram (aningram@davidson.edu), and she will add you to the list.
