Honorary Members

ASLE has extended honorary memberships to the following people to date.  Recipients were chosen for this honor because of their contributions to ASLE and/or literature and environmental studies.  They have significantly enriched those familiar with their work. Their lifetime memberships are a small but sincere token of ASLE’s gratitude to them. Each new inductee is honored at our biennial conferences. The also receive a lifetime subscription to our publications and mention in ASLE publications when appropriate. ASLE congratulates its honorary members on their exemplary careers as artists, advocates, and environmental role models.
