Diversity Blog
The ASLE community now has a new cyber meeting place to share news
about research, events, pedagogy, and more regarding diversity and
environment issues. Designed and maintained by current Diversity
Officer Priscilla Ybarra, the site will host ongoing discussions and
announcements. The next elected Diversity Officers will continue to
maintain the site. Please see the site at http://aslediversity.weebly.com/ to join the conversation on diversity issues.
Would you like to propose a discussion topic or share information about an event or research? Would you like to announce a new book or ask a pedagogy question? Please email any information you would like to share to Priscilla Ybarra at: pybarra@me.com.
Planetary Blog: Teaching the Environmental Humanities
Planetary: Teaching the Environmental Humanities is a new community blog, affiliated with ASLE, that promotes the discussion of teaching, and the sharing of pedagogical materials, among humanists and their allies as they confront environmental issues. Co-edited by Anthony Lioi, Kristen Abbey, Rick Anderson, and Priscilla Solis Ybarra, Planetary hopes to attract an interdisciplinary, polyglot, and international group of readers and writers. For more information, contact Anthony at alioi@juilliard.edu.
