ASLE Seeks Digital Strategies Coordinator

ASLE is seeking a Digital Strategies Coordinator (DSC). The coordinator’s responsibilities are listed below.

Digital Strategies Coordinator
(Term: 2024-2026)

The Digital Strategies Coordinator (DSC) is an appointed position; the DSC is requested to make a commitment of three years, with renewal of appointment possible thereafter.

The Digital Strategies Coordinator actively seeks out news and information from ASLE members in order to promote the activities of ASLE members, and make them available on our website and in social media. They will edit and publish the work of any volunteers who help to produce news content stories for the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the design and publication of the Stay Informed section of the ASLE Website, including ASLE News, Member Bookshelf, Member News, and any additional sections the Digital Strategies Coordinator may wish to create, working in close conjunction with the Managing Director.
  • Coordinate with the Managing Director to organize a quarterly e-newsletter with links to new site content to send to members and subscribers.
  • Invite guest articles, features, and brief write-ups to the website as needed to supplement and refresh the current content.
  • Communicate regularly with elected and appointed officials in ASLE for input on newsletter and website content and updates.
  • Communicate with International Liaison to invite affiliate organizations to submit updates on their activities for the “Stay Informed” section of the ASLE Website.
  • Communicate regularly with the Professional Liaison Coordinator to stay abreast of relevant professional conferences, and request any ASLE-sponsored panel reports in a timely fashion.
  • Attendance at the annual meetings of ASLE’s Executive Council as a non-voting member is encouraged, but not required.
  • Provide a short annual written update to the leadership on DSC activities.
