A Message from our Co-Presidents:
Scientists agree that 2016 has been the hottest year on record.  In light of recent challenges to scientific consensus, we, the co-presidents of ASLE, feel compelled to affirm, loudly and unequivocally, the basic commitment that led to the founding of our organization: to be an “inclusive community whose members are committed to environmental research, education, literature, art and service, environmental justice, and ecological sustainability.”  Our work continues, now more than ever.  We are infinitely proud of all that our members do every day to combat climate change, and we stand in solidarity with their efforts to fight bigotry and intolerance wherever they encounter them.
