Panel at ASLE 2025: Collective Atmospheres
July 8-11, 2025 University of Maryland, College Park

This panel explores intersectional animal studies to query the legacies and ongoingness of animality’s connection to race, gender, and sexuality. Critical race animal studies is now a rich, established field, and presenters are invited to consider this field as it informs literature, culture, media, or history. Please submit a short proposal of no more than 250 words to Jeremy Chow at jhc034@bucknell.edu by December 15, 2024. Presentations will be no more than 10 minutes and the panel will seek to incorporate junior, emerging, and established scholars.
