New Collaborative Initiative: Planet Now! / Planeta herido: una conversación

The Center for Environmental Studies at Rice University, Houston-based Literal Publishing, and Association for the Study of Literature and Environment (ASLE) are happy to announce a new collaboration initiative, Planet Now! / Planeta herido: una conversación.  The project seeks to foster collaboration and public dialogue about environmental issues and promote equity, diversity, inclusion, and accessibility in just environmental practices. The first offering from Planet Now! / Planeta herido: una conversación is an interview between Gisela Heffes and Argentinian writer Samanta Schweblin, author of Fever Dream / Distancia de rescate, Mouthful of Birds / Pájaros en la boca y otros cuentos, and Little Eyes / Kentukis, among others. Samanta Schweblin’s celebrated novel Fever DreamDistancia de rescate just debuted on Netflix, directed by Claudia Llosa.
