Helena Feder, Associate Professor of Literature and Environment at East Carolina University, was awarded a Mellon/ACLS Scholar & Society Grant for the academic year of 2019-2020. She has been in residence at the North Carolina Museum of Art.

The Mellon/ACLS Scholar & Society program “aims to amplify the broad potential of doctoral education in the humanities by supporting doctoral faculty as they pursue publicly engaged scholarship and advocate for diverse professional pathways for emerging PhDs.” More information about Dr. Feder’s project can be found here.
